What is the deposit amount and when is the remaining balance due?

We ask for a deposit of 50% of the invoice to secure the date which is due upon the wedding day. The remaining balance will be due 4 weeks before your wedding day. We will usually contact you a month before your date to catch up with your planning and remind you of the remaining balance. We know you will be busy and our aim is to make things as easy as possible.

Can we select our own music for our film?

Unfortunately, not, but we strongly believe that’s for the better. There are several reasons for this, both for copyright and creativity purposes. We license all of the music we use in our films, and often, most mainstream music isn’t available to license. Selecting the right song is also a huge part of our creative process, as it forms the backbone of your film where we draw a lot of emotional inspiration from. After learning more about you and your story as well as spending some quality time with you both during your wedding, we usually get a good feel for the type of music you’re drawn into. We use that as our inspiration as we start searching for the right music, but we also ensure that the music we choose reflects who we are as artists. This has probably been a long-winded answer, but important nonetheless.

Do I need a second shooter?

Having a second photographer is really useful as it will not only provide you with more photos but also a different perspective. We will work closely with the second shooter to document both yours and your partner’s preparations in the morning. During the marriage ceremony, we can cover two angles/viewpoints simultaneously, without needing to walk around as much. During your drinks reception, one of us can cover the guests, capturing candid moments whilst the other photographer will capture those stunning bride and groom photos that will hang on your walls for many years to come!

What is the delivery time?

We aim to deliver all the photographs edited professionally within 4-6 weeks but films take a little longer (8-12 weeks).

Do you have insurance?

Yes, absolutely! We carry full public liability covering up to £5 million and professional indemnity as you would expect from any wedding photographer or videographer. If your venue requires proof, we would be happy to email them a copy of our certificate for their records.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We’d like to keep the technicalities short. We use the top of the line gear including Sony cameras and G-master lenses. We also use a multi-complex flash lighting system which allows us shoot creative photographs. We are totally obsessed with making sure we have multiple backup equipment to ensure your day is never affected by any technical failure and often backup for my backups!
